This national event has been designed to share information about climate adaptation and develop connections between communities of practice, policy, business and research.

Building on success
The 2010 International Climate Change Adaptation Conference reached capacity with over 1,000 delegates attending.  Media coverage for the event was strong with more than 80 unique media mentions during the conference. Specific details can be supplied upon request.

Leadership opportunity
The 2012 conference will build on its predecessor to showcase current knowledge around adapting Australia to climate change: addressing the threats and realising the opportunities. It will provide an update of climate change adaptation knowledge, policy and practice and avenues for stronger engagement between business, policy makers, communities and researchers to develop a vision for a climate adapted future Australia.

National event
