Conferences are rewarding investments in your career – learn & share; forge & strengthen connections.
What will you get out of it?
Delegates automatically receive access to all conference proceedings, excepting some special events which require additional booking (e.g. the conference dinner).
Over the course of 3 days, you’ll have the opportunity to attend approximately 5 plenary sessions, 2 panel sessions, 5 parallel sessions, and speedtalk sessions – hearing from up to 80 speakers in total! We run most sessions in parallel, organised into themes, so that you can customise your experience to align more closely with your interests.
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are all included, as well as coffee/tea. These breaks are not only about sampling from delicious buffets – they are excellent opportunities for growing relationships with your peers.
If you choose to book a place at the conference dinner, you’ll have an entertaining evening sharing a meal as we present the Climate Adaptation Champions awards. The stories from our champions are truly inspiring!
Feedback from our delegates tells us that our conferences are particularly influential for early career researchers and postgraduate students, because the diverse adaptation community offers a wide range of networking opportunities.
