Presentation styles

We always offer a few different presentation options, which you can select when you submit your Abstract (for more detailed information, see the Conference event page).

Plenary sessions

These are the keynote addresses, delivered by experts on invitation from the organising committee. Invitation only

Panel sessions

These sessions are a panel of experts, chaired, in open discussion with the audience. Invitation only

Parallel sessions

These oral presentations are usually about 15 minutes long, followed by 5 minutes of question time.

Speedtalks / Synopsis sessions

Short and sharp oral presentations, 4 minutes long followed with a minute to change speakers. These sessions test speaker skills at delivering a memorable message.

Poster sessions

Use visuals to communicate your project in a poster, and discuss your project with people during designated poster sessions.

Apply to be a speaker

For a chance to present at our conference, you must successfully submit an Abstract and have it accepted by our panel.

Abstracts must follow our guidelines (coming soon) and be submitted online by the due date. Our panel will then review all  abstract submissions, and notify successful speakers. See the conference listing for more details.
